I mean would it be recoverd to the very fisrt time I bought it, The only diffrence that it would be vista and not xp??

The Answer by The Wedge :

Only if you installed it as a new installation, not an upgrade. If you choose upgrade, then it will keep all user settings, program registrations, etc. but a new installation will create a new registry and default user account settings. It would be as if you bought a new computer with Vista on it.

If you do buy Vista, install it by booting from CD, then formatting your hard drive. It will then clear all data from your computer before installing.

  • I’m a student (not in college) and I want to know if you think I’d be better off buying a computer with Vista or waiting until Windows 7 comes out. The computer I’m typing on now runs Vista, and I’m only mildly satisfied.

    Thanks for your advice.

    The Answer by Hari :

I would suggest vista because when windows 7 comes out it will have a lot of bugs and will not be compatible with anything. And we are not sure when it comes out. If you really want to buy windows 7 you should wait at least a year after it releases and then buy it. Microsoft also says that it will be a lot like vista.
