Can I use the Vista Upgrade on a Mac, or do I have to get the full version (I'm not asking legally, I'm asking if it's possible without extra effort)? I don't want Vista, but I need it in order to take classes online at my high school.
Also, does the built-in microphone work on Vista?
t should work, but I recommend backing up your bootcamp partition, in case everything goes pear shaped and you will need to restore XP. If you're careful enough, it shouldn't affect your OS X and EFI partitions.

No, Vista upgrade only works with Windows XP or newer. You will need full version Vista disk. Also it only works on Intel Macs. You'll need to use Boot Camp and find all the drivers and these should include the audio drivers. It will be a bit complicated.
Better buy a cheap PC.

Probably not.
The Vista downgrade is intended for those who already have a superior version of Microsoft's OS.
