Window Vista Help Center

Hello
I am hoping that someone may at least help me figure out one of my 'many' problems with Windows Vista.
First of all the spec of my PC is Dual Core Pentium 3.4 Ghz processor with 1 Gig of ram and 250MB graphics card.
The main performance problem I notice is that when I go to Task Manager and click on performance I notice that memory consumption is being consistently consumed around 800MB.
When I click on the process tab to have a look at what process is consuming all this memory I can find nothing significant. I have 63 processes running of which 57 are consuming 1MB and the remainding are around 30MB each. In total from the process list I think around 300MB are accumulated.
So why is my Vista maxing out all the time with using up around 800MB of memory ?
Has anybody else noticed this or knows if anything can be done to tweak the performance of Vista ?
For the record very disappointed with Vista, Microsoft should burn badly for this.
vista eats memory, its hungry like hell, i will not switch to vista as it is bug ridden, u should wait tillthe next patch comes out, but i am quite happy with xp pro thou, might not swap
